GREEK MYTHOLOGY: This series is dedicated to both classical and modern representations of ancient Greek personalities, sculptures and culture. The vast cultural heritage of the ancient Greeks, which influenced modern, as we know it, culture, is a key element of this series, but also of my overall inspiration. In the era of globalization, multiculturalism, cyberspace,
some question the attractiveness of ancient Greek art, as something foreign, distant and obsolete. The timeless significance and importance of the ancient world is the source of
my inspiration through an experiential approach, trying to make the distant, the unknown, the "ancient", the uninspired for some, interesting and "modern". The synthesis of ancient Greek culture with chromatic contrasts, with modern forms makes the series a modern emphasis on history, of double meaning and emotion, an eclectic fusion of the older tradition with that of the recent past, an attempt at eclectic syncretism that gives ancient motifs new meaning and content using new expressive means, bringing them into communication and reconciliation with the present.
